The Vans Warped Tour brought us many big artists and Reel Big Fish was the first catch of the day. Besides the fact that it was reaching 100 on the mercury levels and every band on earth was playing to interrupt our sound, the guys were great. They were obviously cool with anything.



We decided to film on the dock 10 minutes before the band was to meet us at the press area in the back of the Orlando Fair Grounds. We had to get crafty and find a bowl and a cup so we could clean the razor. Luckily for us we had Andy Stickel, the man behind the madness. At first the idea of leaving our shaded base camp for a dock in the open wasn't too popular, but once we introduced the idea of shaving Ian's head everyone was pumped. Ian left some stubble so the guys could work the dome and he left without a scratch. Another thing we were worried about was falling into the water because the dock was only 3 feet wide and we had a lot of equipment that doesn't like to get wet. We solved this by becoming men.
