Ian was not hindered by Cody's blatant lack of interviewing skills during our time with him backstage at the Hard Rock Live in Orlando, Florida. Ian had prepared vigorously for the interview, listening to "Lips of an Angel" more than 300 times in a row whilst focusing mostly on the percussion.

Unfortunately Ian was forced to enlist the help of a true professional, Battle, during the interview to avoid running the risk of creating the worst interview in the history of the world.
The sun was bright above the rain clouds that blocked it from view on the very gloomy day we decided to conduct the interview. DFS Producer Andy Stickel had worked out a deal that got us backstage at Universal Studios. After much frisking at the back gate, we proceeded to the back of the Hard Rock Live. We needed to find the perfect spot to conduct the interview so Andy peeled off the group and went to go find Hinder's Tour Manager while the rest of us listened to dirty southern rap music in our stretched Hummer limo.
Upon seeing the room that the Tour Manager suggested, we were confident that this would be the greatest interview the world had ever seen, that is until Cody showed up.
We bit our nails as Cody proceeded to ruin everything we had worked years to create. "It was the most horrid thing I had ever seen in my life" said a bystander. Fortunately Andy took precautions to save the interview in case of such an occurrence, and with that Ian went to Battle. Ian would later say that he was frightened of Cody saying "I was literally frightened of Cody". It is safe to say that without Battle's participation in the interview we would of had to shut down our entire operation and possibly file for bankruptcy.
All of us at Digital Firestarter would personally like to thank Battle for salvaging what will always be known as "The Cody Fiasco".
